I am a 2001 Volvo s80 2.9 (non turbo) still living with my original owner. While I have been driven lots of miles, I have been well cared for mechanically. In the past couple of years, I have received:A timing belt/water pump/thermostat/serpentine belt serviceA new radiator/cooling system shroud/fan assemblyNew rubber brake lines/brake fluidAlternator/Battery I have Michelin tires from Costco, still under warranty that have just been rotatedI just had an oil /filter service with Mobil 1, which is the only used in me for many years. The clear coat on my paint has failed so my exterior does not look great. My leather interior has cracks, but everything still works including cold air conditioning. I have a few electrical gremlins such as my fuel door electronics do hold the door closed. I am driven on an almost daily basis. I am being replaced by a 2013 Volvo wagon. Clean finish, no rust or dents. Only 122,650 miles. Engine runs very well. Garaged the first 12 years owned. Complete set of new suspension parts (Shocks and Struts) although car runs acceptably with original suspension. Minor issues like moon roof does not open and driver side window occasionally sticks. A fast, smooth ride with better gas mileage than spec'd. No fluid leaks, tight engine.
